Pioneering Our Innovative & Eco-Conscious Art | Discover Our Vision of Non-Toxic, Cruelty Free Creations
Susan Yin, a visionary self-made artist and designer based in New York, has dedicated her career to exploring the boundless potential of sustainable materials. Her unwavering passion for the environment has led her to uncover the revolutionary capabilities of hemp, an energy-efficient and carbon-absorbing material that not only offers a non-toxic solution but also provides numerous benefits for both people and the planet.
Through her meticulous studies and groundbreaking experiments, Yin has discovered that hemp possesses the remarkable ability to act as a bioremediator, sequestering carbon during the cultivation process. In the sustainable building industry, this versatile material serves as a virtually carbon-neutral, bio-based product that can be utilized in a wide range of applications. Furthermore, hemp can be locally produced as a renewable agricultural resource, eliminating the need for multiple agrochemical products and playing a vital role in reactivating and strengthening rural economies.
Yin's artistic vision is a harmonious blend of Japanese philosophy, Scandinavian design, and a global perspective on embracing imperfection. Her unique creations seamlessly fuse fine art, design, craft, and sculpture, resulting in truly captivating pieces. Inspired by natural and biomorphic shapes, Yin meticulously crafts her hemp sculptures using a slow-moving technique, imbuing each piece with a timeless finish that is entirely derived from nature.
Yin's work celebrates the joy of organic aesthetics and storytelling, inviting viewers to experience a profound connection with the natural world. Through her pioneering approach to sustainable design, she continues to inspire and transform the way we perceive and interact with our environment.
